BLACKWOOD, N. J. (CBS) – Business owners can learn how to embrace green technology and practices and save some cash at the same time.
Camden County’s first Green Empowerment Conference is set for October 16th between 8 a.m. and 11a.m.
Melanie Monturano, with Camden County College, says area business leaders can learn how to make their businesses more eco-friendly and save money at the same time.
She adds you can learn about energy efficiency grants, meet specially trained workers and learn about different helpful projects, including the direct install program.
“That program’s great because companies can replace old equipment in their lighting system with energy efficient technology and direct install pays 70% of their total project cost,” Monturano explains.
The free event takes place on the college’s Blackwood Campus and you can find out more on the county website by clicking on calendar of events.
