1 Dead After Shooting Near Strawberry Mansion

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect who shot and killed a 23-year-old man multiple times near Strawberry Mansion on Sunday afternoon.

According to police, the victim was shot multiple times in the abdomen and torso in the 3200 block of West Arizona Street.

He was transported to Temple University Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.

Police say the male suspect was riding a bike and was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt at the time of the incident.

They believe that he took the sweatshirt off and is now wearing a gray t-shirt. He was last seen near 32nd and Cumberland Streets.

The victim's name was not immediately released.
