PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Authorities say a man found gunned down on a northeast Philadelphia street has died.

Officers were called to the Frankford section of the city just before 10:30 p.m. Friday.

They found a 52-year-old man lying on the pavement with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and legs.

The semiconscious victim was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police say they have no information yet on any suspects in the case. The name of the victim was not immediately released.
