CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) – Two firefighters were rescued from the roof of a home while battling a multi-alarm blaze in Chester this morning.

Authorities say the fire broke out about 1 a.m. inside a two-story row home in the 2900 block of West Third Street.

While battling the blaze, firefighters had to be rescued from the roof area after a small propane tank exploded.  A second alarm was struck and the fire was quickly placed under control.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
