PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - My favorite time of year to exercise is the fall. The late days of September have the perfect combination of enough daylight hours to allow outdoor exercise and cool enough temperatures to permit you to exercise comfortably. It s particularly good if you are someone who needs to start exercising because you have not been part of any exercise program.
The best way to start is to get out and walk. A fall morning or evening is perfect to get that jump start. There really is no end to the things you can do. The best part is that there is no excuse not to do it.
