Villanova Rolls Over Penn 24-8

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — John Robertson passed for one touchdown and ran for another as Villanova defeated Pennsylvania 24-8 Saturday, its 12th consecutive victory over the Quakers.

The redshirt freshman was 13-of-20 for 213 yards, including a 14-yard touchdown to Norman White to open the scoring. That followed passes of 38 and 32 yards to Joe Price.

Villanova (3-1) led 10-0 at halftime, and Robertson's 26-yard run on third-and-4 with 5:43 left in the third quarter made it 17-0.

Kevin Monangai rushed for 109 yards on 17 carries for the Wildcats, including a 14-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Villanova rushed for 225 yards and has surpassed 200 in all its games this season.

Penn (0-2) got on the scoreboard with 3:14 left on a 5-yard pass from Andrew Holland to Conner Scott.

Billy Ragone, Penn's starting quarterback, passed for 40 yards and ran for 6, giving him 4,006 career yards total offense.
