PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A 15-year-old girl who reportedly took her parents’ car for a ride Monday afternoon struck a parked car, then fled the area, but not before leaving her little brother behind, according to police.
It happened a little after 4 p.m. in the 4600 block of Frankford Avenue.
Authorities say the teen got into a minor accident with a parked vehicle. She then, according to police, ran away, leaving her 9-year-old brother behind in the car.
The boy was eventually reunited with his parents. Police say when the teen returned home, they issued her a ticket.
