PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police in Philadelphia say officers shot and wounded a man who allegedly pointed a gun at them.
Police say a man flagged down an officer in the Frankford section of Northeast Philadelphia shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday.
He said he had been robbed of $30 by two males and a female armed with a gun.
Authorities said two officers later saw the three suspects running down the street and chased them.
During the pursuit, officials said, one of the males turned and pointed a gun at officers.
Police say both officers fired and hit one of the males in the arm.
He was taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital and reported in good condition. The other two were also taken into custody.
