PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – An overnight hit-and-run in Philadelphia’s Wissinoming neighborhood sent a motorcyclist to the hospital in critical condition.

Police say it happened at around 2 a.m. around the intersection of Harbison and Comly. Accident investigators say a car struck a motorcycle there and fled the scene.

The man on the motorcycle was sent to Hahnemann University Hospital in critical condition.

Police say the driver of the car turned himself into police this morning. No word on charges yet.
