CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) – A firefighter escaped serious injury after being struck by a car in New Jersey early Thursday morning.
The incident happened at about 7:30 a.m. in front of the Camden Fire Department Squad Company 7 in the 1100 block of Kaighns Avenue.
According to investigators, an on-duty firefighter was clipped by the mirror of a passing car in front of the building. The firefighter was taken to Cooper University Hospital to be treated for a minor hand injury.
The details surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
