PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A dollar store owner is battling for his life after being shot outside his business on Germantown Avenue late Wednesday night.
The owner is hospitalized in critical condition. According to police, he was shot at close range multiple times in the 4900 block of Germantown Avenue.
Police inspector Scott Small says the shooting happened on the sidewalk near the store. The 46-year-old victim suffered wounds to his arms and legs.
Police have no one in custody. The gunman fled and remains at large. Police say nothing was taken.
The incident remains under investigation.
