WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – A child was injured in a Wednesday morning accident in Whitehall.

The five-year-old Whitehall School District student was struck in the area of Fairmount Avenue just west of Kay Drive while attempting to board the school bus.

The injured child was transported to LVHC for treatment. There is no word on the child’s condition.

Whitehall police are currently investigating the incident.
