HORSHAM, Pa. (CBS) — Three firefighters were injured while battling a strip mall fire in Horsham, Montgomery County late Sunday afternoon.
Fire officials believe the blaze broke out at a laundromat along the 100 block of West Moreland Avenue shortly after 4:30 p.m. It was placed under control about an hour and a half later.
Two firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion, a third suffered a lacerated finger.
At least one of the injured firefighters was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital.
Fire officials say the fire caused varying degrees of smoke and water damage to neighboring businesses.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
