PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia homicide detectives are investigating the discovery of a man found shot to death in the basement of a Germantown home.
Police say they were notified just after 8 a.m. this morning of the body’s discovery in a home in the 800 block of Price Street.
The victim, whom they believe is between 40 and 50 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the man died of two gunshot wounds to the back. Police had no immediate suspects and no motive.
Investigators did not immediately determine if the man was a resident of the home, and officials did not reveal who tipped them off about the body.
