PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating a shooting that left person dead in North Philadelphia Wednesday morning.

Police say a 30-year-old man is dead of gunshot wounds to the chest. The victim was shot along the 3100 block of north 15th street at about 2 a.m.

The unidentified victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The gunman fled the scene and remains at large.

The motive may have robbery according to investigators.
