PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two children and their grandmother were injured in a fire that destroyed a row home in North Philadelphia Wednesday morning.
Authorities say the fire broke out at about 9 a.m. in a middle of the row home in the 1900 block of W. Susquehanna Ave.
A family member tells Eyewitness News, two young girls ages one and eight were badly burned in the fire along with their grandmother.

Authorities say the children were transported to St. Christopher’s Hospital and the adult was taken to Temple University Hospital. All three were listed in critical condition suffering from burns and smoke inhalation.
The fire was placed under control at about 9:30 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
