SELLERSVILLE, Pa. (CBS) – The FBI and the Perkasie Police Department are reaching out to the public for help finding a man who allegedly robbed a bank on Friday.
At approximately 4:47 p.m., the suspect entered the First Niagara Bank Branch at 209 N Main Street in Sellersville, where he presented a threatening not to the teller demanding money and claiming he had a gun. The gun was never displayed.
After taking off with an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect was last seen walking south on Main Street.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 50s. He is about 5’8” tall and 230 lbs, balding and was wearing prescription glasses, a tan t-shirt with “Beef and Ale” on it and an Italian flag on the back, and dark shorts.
This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Perkasie Police Department at 215-257-6876.
