Police Find Woman Abducted From Overbrook

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police were investigating a home invasion and abduction in the Overbrook section of the city early Wednesday morning.

Authorities say three masked men broke into a family home in the 900 block of North 66th Street and kidnapped 24-year-old Carmela Brady. It happened just before 6 a.m.

The men snatched two iPhones and sped off in the family’s dark blue Buick down Park Avenue.

Police say the suspects took Brady to an abandoned house near 59th and Theodore Streets in Kingsessing.

According to police, Brady managed to get away form her captors unharmed. Several suspects were arrested.
