CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a southern New Jersey man is in critical condition after a fight outside a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Police have not released the name of the 20-year-old Bellmawr man. They say he hit his head on the pavement when he fell after another man came up behind and punched him in a parking lot before Tuesday night’s concert at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden.

He was taken to Cooper University Hospital, but further details on his condition have not been disclosed.

Matthew Shields of Westville has been charged with aggravated assault. The 21-year-old turned himself into police on Wednesday and was sent to the Camden County Jail. Bail was set at $50,000.
