WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – A Delaware man was arrested after police say he stole $8,500 in gaming chips from Delaware Park.
Kevin M. Davis is facing charges for his alleged role in the incident that occurred in the casino at Delaware Park on August 23rd.
According to investigators, the 21-year-old Davis is accused of reaching over a plexiglass barrier at a roulette table, grabbing (17) $500 gaming chips totaling $8,500, and fleeing the casino through an emergency door.
After an investigation, Davis was identified as a suspect. A search warrant was executed at his home Monday, which resulted in the recovery of the gaming chips.
Davis was arraigned and released on $1,500 secured bond pending a preliminary hearing.
