PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. (CBS) – Police confirm that one of the three people injured in a one-car crash in Atlantic County on Tuesday afternoon has died.
The crash happened at about 1 p.m. on the Black Horse Pike and S. New Road in Pleasantville. Authorities say a female driver lost control of the minivan she was driving before it struck a sign post, killing the front passenger and injuring two children sitting in the backseat.
Surveillance video taken from a nearby gas station, captured the woman getting out of the vehicle and rushing to the back where she pulled the young children out.
It’s not known how seriously the children were injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
