LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) - Authorities in Montgomery County are seeking the public’s help in locating a porcelain bust of Benjamin Franklin that was stolen from a home Friday afternoon.

Police responded to a report of an interrupted burglary at a home in the Bryn Mawr section of Lower Merion at about 12:30 p.m.

Authorities say the suspect, identified as 46-year-old Andrea Lawton of Philadelphia, ran off with the item, which dates back to the 18th century and may be worth more than $3 million.

Anyone with information on Lawton or the stolen item is asked to contact the Lower Merion Police Department.
