PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A fundraiser has been organized to help support the family of Philadelphia Police Officer Moses Walker Jr.

The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5 organized the benefit, which will take place on Monday, August 27 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the FOP lounge at 1336 Spring Garden Street.

There will be a $20 entrance fee and food and drink will also be for sale.

Officer Walker was gunned down during an attempted robbery in North Philadelphia after finishing his tour of duty on the morning of August 18th (see related story).
