Phillies Continue Series Vs. Reds With Worley On Bump

By Matt Leon

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- After seeing their three-game winning streak go by the wayside when Zack Cosart took Jonathan Papelbon deep in the 9th inning last night, the Phillies will try to bounce tonight as they play the third game of this four game series against the Reds.

Vance Worley gets the start for the Phillies. The right-hander is 6-8 here in 2012 with a 4.11 ERA. It's been a struggle as of late for Worley. In his last three starts, he is 0-2 with a 7.90 ERA and he has lasted just 13 2/3 innings, total, in those three starts.

Worley has made two career starts against the Reds, going 1-0 with a 5.73 ERA.

Cincinnati tonight will start veteran right-hander Bronson Arroyo. He is 9-7 this season, but he has always had a lot of problems against the Phillies. Arroyo is just 1-7 in 10 career appearances (9 starts) against the Reds with a 7.28 ERA.
