LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa. (CBS) – Police are investigating a shooting that left a man hospitalized in Montgomery County.

The incident happened outside a home on Joshua Road and Emerson Drive in Lafayette Hill.

According to investigators, the male victim pulled up to his house in a car with a female companion.

As the victim exited his car, police say a group of suspects jumped out from behind some bushes and began fighting with the victim.

During the struggle, the victim was shot multiple times. He was initially taken to Chestnut Hill Hospital by a family member, but he was later transported to Temple University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

So far, no arrests have been made. The shooting remains under investigation.
