Philadelphia (CBS) — It is a subject mostly avoided until it may be too late.
Philadelphia area Doctor Lauren Van Scoy has written a book called “Last Wish”. It’s about facing the end of life in different ways. The book reads like a novel but is instructive and emotional as the Doctor tells the story about last wishes from a personal viewpoint.
Dr. Mark Angelo, director of Palliative care at Cooper Hospital finds the stories in “Last Wish” by Dr. Lauren Van Scoy provide an extremely candid look at the way families deal with end of life decisions.
