NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) - A Bucks County man was found dead in a home containing explosive materials on Tuesday, according to authorities.
A bomb squad and agents from the the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were called out to a home on on the unit block of Barry Road in New Britain Township.
The man has been identified as 34-year-old Christopher Kanter.
According to authorities, it is possible Kanter died of cardiac arrest or a prescription medication overdose. Investigators say it was his girlfriend who discovered his body near the kitchen around 9:30 in the morning and called police.
It is unclear why explosive materials were in the home. Authorities are investigating.
