Baby Boy Found Unattended In Norristown Parking Lot

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) - A baby was discovered in the parking lot of a mental health center in Montgomery County Tuesday morning.

Authorities say at about 8:45 a.m., employees at the Central Montgomery County Mental Health Center on the 1100 block of Powell Street in Norristown discovered the little boy unattended in a stroller. A blue and red duffle bag was also nearby, which contained several baby items.

Police were notified and the Montgomery County Office of Children & Youth took the child, who is believed to be between six-months to a year old, into custody, according to officials.

Authorities say they have identified the mother of the child as Chrissie Williams of Philadelphia.
