Eagles Rookie Vinny Curry: 'Andy Reid Is One Of The Strongest Human Beings I Know'

By Spike Eskin

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – This is Vinny Curry's first season in the NFL, and his first under head coach Andy Reid. Just a couple of weeks into training camp, he's already very impressed.

"That's one of the strongest human beings I know," Curry said of Reid to 94WIP's Michael Barkann and Ike Reese on Monday. "I know I'm a rookie, but just being here so far man, that's one of the strongest human beings I know. To come  back to work like that, and still coaches as hard, he's one of the greatest for a reason."

Reid returned to work just three days after his oldest son Garrett died, and just one day after the funeral.

Curry, a defensive end, was drafted in the second round by the Eagles in the 2012 draft. He grew up in Neptune, New Jersey, and has been an Eagles fan all his life.
