Woman Accused Of Killing Fiance On Wedding Day In Lehigh County

LEHIGH COUNTY, Pa. (CBS) — A Lehigh County woman is in jail after police say she fatally stabbed her soon-to-be husband on their wedding day.

Thirty-one-year-old Na Cola Darcel Franklin has been charged with homicide in the stabbing death of her fiancé, 36-year-old Billy Rafeal Brewster, on their wedding day; Saturday, August 11th.

Brewster was pronounced dead Saturday at 3:24 a.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital just hours before the wedding.

The cause of death was a stab wound and has been ruled a homicide.

Franklin will not receive bail due to the nature of the offense charged.

An investigation is being conducted by the Whitehall Police Department and Lehigh County District Attorney's Office Homicide Task Force.
