Shamar Logan, Khalil Oday and an unidentified juvenile were charged with robbery and related offenses after their alleged involvement in a robbery on the 2900 block of South 70th Street at about 1:45 a.m. on August 3rd. Authorities say one of the men, who was armed with a black revolver struck the victim multiple times, causing lacerations to his head. The suspects allegedly took the man's keys, cell phone and ID.

About 15 minutes later, police say those same suspects, in addition to a fourth male, Lamar Potts, robbed another man on the 6900 block of Buist Avenue. The suspects allegedly approached the man and demanded money. When the victim said he didn't have any money and fled, the suspects reportedly chased after him and beat him with the handgun several times. They then fled the area in a black-colored Chevy Impala.

Authorities say Shamar Logan was also involved in robbery and rape the following day at about 3:35 a.m.

A man and woman were returning home from the 7-11 store located at 70th Street and Grovers Avenue. While they were walking in the ball field next to Finnegan Playground, Logan allegedly approached them, struck the victims in the head with his handgun and took one of the victim's wallet. The Logan then allegedly sexually assaulted the female complainant before fleeing the area.

Logan is charged with robbery, rape and related offenses in this incident.
