PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Philadelphia firefighter was injured while battling a house fire early Monday morning.

The fire started shortly before 6 a.m. inside a home in the 800 block of N. Capitol Street in the city’s Fairmount section.

According to fire officials, the blaze apparently started in the basement of the two-story row home.

Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in about 15 minutes.
