PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia Police are hoping surveillance video of a man, armed with a handgun, robbing a nail salon in Southwest Philadelphia Friday afternoon will help lead to his arrest.
The robbery happened at the Tanya Nail Salon in the 5200 block of Chestnut Street at about 12:45 p.m. According to police, a man entered the store, pulled out a gun and said, “Money, money.”
The victims gave the store money to the suspect who then fled west on Chestnut Street, then north on 53rd Street.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male, in his late 20s or early 30s, with a medium build. He was wearing a white
shirt and black pants from the store.
