PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia Police say they have arrested an employee of the First Judicial District who works at the Criminal Justice Center and charged him with impersonating a police officer in order to rape a 15-year-old girl.
Jean Casseus of northeast Philadelphia is accused of prowling websites to find his alleged victim, then showing up at her door with a badge, gun and handcuffs, telling her she would be arrested if she resisted his demands.
Casseus is now charged with rape and other offenses. Police fear, however, he may well be a serial predator who has claimed other victims who have not yet come forward.
The suspect, following his arrest, is now free on bail and back home.
Lt. Anthony McFadden, who leads Special Investigations at the Special Victims Unit, is urging anyone who believes they may be a victim to contact his investigators.
