FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) - One person is dead after a tractor-trailer and vehicle collided in Gloucester County Wednesday night.

It happened a little after 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Main and Weymouth roads in Franklin Township.

The tractor-trailer burst into flames after colliding with the vehicle. Chopper 3HD was over the scene where crews worked to extinguish the flames.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released. There is no word on other injuries, although initial reports indicated several people were trapped underneath the wreckage.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
