PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police have one suspect in custody and continue their search for a second late Friday night after a double shooting in East Mount Airy.
It happened at about 8:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Sharpnack Street. According to authorities, a 23-year-old man was shot multiple times. He was rushed to Einstein Medical Center where he died a short while later, police said.
A second victim, a 26-year-old man, was shot numerous times in the torso and in the leg. He is listed in extremely critical condition at Einstein Medical Center.
Details on a possible motive were not immediately available.
An investigation is underway.
