EGG HARBOR TWP., N. J. (CBS) – Egg Harbor Township police arrested a male in connection with a marijuana growing operation in Atlantic County.
Authorities say that an investigation led the Egg Harbor Township Police Department and NJ State Police Marijuana Eradication Unit to Darren Marro, 47, of Alder Avenue in Egg Harbor Township.
After executing a search warrant, police seized numerous marijuana plants, marijuana seeds, over 50 grams of dried marijuana, and paraphernalia used to grow marijuana.
Marro was charged with operating and maintaining a controlled dangerous substance growing facility and possession of marijuana with intent to manufacture or distribute over 10 plants, among other charges.
His bail has been set at $25,000 cash.
