PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are searching for three suspects in connection with a deadly home invasion early Tuesday morning.
The incident happened shortly after midnight, in the 6700 block of N. Gratz Street in the city’s West Oak Lane section.
“A female knocked on the door requesting to use the phone. The victim’s elderly, 84-year-old father answered the door,” says police inspector Scott Small. “Two males then forced their way in. They ran right to the second floor and shot the victim.”
Nothing was taken. The suspects remain on the loose. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
