PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Mann Center welcomes the Pittsburg Symphony Orchestra for its performance of the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess on July 25th.
“It’s the first ever videogamed themed concert to feature a complete four-movement symphony showcasing the work of Nintendo composer and sound director, Koji Kondo.”
Listen to the podcast below …
The Mann Center CEO Catherine Cahill says this concert is not just history in the making, but also a feast for your eyes, with a showcase of the 25-year visual history of legend itself.
“We will have a jumbo video screen hanging at the rear of the orchestra and when these images that people know and love come to life, synched perfectly to what you will see visually…I think it’s the most exciting thing.”
Cahill says the Philadelphia Singers Chorale will also perform…all of this with delicious views from the lawn of the Mann. For tickets or more info- go to manncenter.org.
