Galloway Twp. Police Searching For Stabbing Suspect

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) - Galloway Township Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted for stabbing a 22-year-old female.

Police responded to a call around 9:30 a.m. Saturday that the victim was bleeding at the Travel Lodge on Rt 30.

Police say when they located the victim, she had seven stab wounds to her neck, chest and back.

After further investigation, detectives issued an arrest warrant for 24-year-old J. E. "Johnny" Lozano-Vulgarin (see photo above) of Brooklyn, NY.

Lozano-Vulgarin was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.

Witnesses say Lozano-Vulgarin left the scene prior to police arrival. He is reportedly driving a silver Ford Escape SUV with NY registration FBB 7793.

Lozano-Vulgarin is described as a Hispanic male, 5'10" thin build with dark hair and dark eyes.
