Philadelphia Police Arrest 2nd Suspect In Fatal Strawberry Mansion Home Invasion

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - U.S. Marshals and Philadelphia Homicide Detectives have arrested a man wanted for a murder that happened during a Strawberry Mansion home invasion in March.

Charles Davis was arrested in the 600 block of North Conastoga Street on Thursday. Authorities say he is connected to a March 5th home invasion, murder and robbery that took place on Cecil B. Moore Avenue near 33rd Street.

According to police, Davis and another man, Ali Marsh, entered the home, shot and killed John Paul Jr. and critically wounded his wife, Sherrell.

Davis, police say, was also a Pennsylvania state parole fugitive for aggravated assault. Davis' prior arrests include firearms possession and aggravated assault.
