NEWARK, Del. (CBS) – New Castle County Police are investigating a homicide that occurred Tuesday night in Newark, Delaware.

Police, paramedics, and Christiana Fire Company ambulance personnel responded to a shooting at about 10:30 p.m. in the unit block of Heron Court.

Authorities say that Jeremiah McDonald, 30, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives are investigating. There is no suspect as of yet.
