MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) — Firefighters were battling a four-alarm fire at a Bucks County apartment complex on Sunday night.
The fire broke out shortly after 10 p.m. at the Windsor at Harper’s Crossing in Middletown Township.
Dispatchers say two firefighters suffered smoke inhalation and second degree burns, and were taken to Saint Mary Medical Center. Several residents were also transported with unknown injuries.
Officials say multiple units were involved and many residents had to be evacuated.
The American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania says at least six people were displaced by the fire. Residents were gathering in the complex club house for immediate shelter.
