PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra plays Dvorak & Tchaikovsky at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, July 24th.

“We are actually delighted to have one of Pennsylvania’s supreme grand orchestras, the great Pittsburgh Symphony, come back to the great Mann stage. They will be us for two wonderful performances this summer,” says Catherine Cahill, President of the Mann.

And there will be two guests making their Mann Center debut.

“Their music director, Manfred Honek, is coming, and we are doing a wonderful program featuring the great Dvorak Cello Concerto with Johannes Moser, and of course, one of Tchaikovsky’s most beloved symphonies, his Symphony No. 5.
