Man Killed In Police-Involved Shooting In Hunting Park

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two Philadelphia police officers opened fire Friday night after a man got out of his car with a gun in the Hunting Park section of the city.
According to police, the incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. Friday. A police sergeant with backup stopped a man in a 2007 BMW in the 4400 block of Rising Sun Avenue.
The man got out of his car, pointed a gun at the sergeant. The sear gent and one officer fire hitting the man three-four times.
The 28-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.
