Fatal Accident At Veterinary Hospital Takes 9 Year Old's Life
MAXATAWNY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – Police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at the Kutztown Animal Hospital.
On Thursday, July 12th at about 12:38 p.m., the Berks-Lehigh Regional Police Department responded to a report of a nine-year-old girl who fell from a third floor window.
After investigations, authorities concluded that the child had been playing with her siblings, lost her balance and fell through an open screened window.
The child, who was a relative of an employee at the animal hospital, fell approximately 18 feet, landing on partial concrete and vegetation.
She was taken to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
Police are still investigating the incident.
