Man In Wheelchair Struck, Killed In Hit-Run Accident In Atlantic City
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) - Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident in Atlantic City Monday night.
Authorities say a 45-year-old man in a motorized wheelchair was struck and killed at about 9:30 p.m. at Pennsylvania Avenue and Route 30. The vehicle left the scene, according to investigators.
Police have been questioning witnesses about the striking vehicle. Officers found a car near Maryland and Atlantic avenues that they believe may have been involved in the accident.
Search dogs are trying to track the driver.
The accident remains under investigation.
