Deadly Shooting Erupts At Delaware Soccer Tournament

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) - Police say one person is dead and two others are in critical condition after five people were shot during a soccer tournament at Eden Park  in Wilmington, Del. Sunday afternoon.

When police arrived on the scene shortly before 3 p.m. they say they found  three gun shot victims, including a 16-year old teen who was shot in the head,  a 47-year-old man who was shot in the chest, and a 34-year-old man who was shot in the shoulder.

According to police, three suspects left the scene and a short time later were involved in a car accident.

Two of the suspects were arrested and taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries. One of them had been shot in the leg prior to being taken into police custody.

The third man who left the scene with them died in the vehicle they tried to escape in reportedly from multiple gunshot wounds.

The shooting remains under investigation.
