Man Dead After Shooting In Chester

CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) - Chester Police say a 23-year-old man is dead after a shooting Saturday afternoon on East 21st Street.

Police say when they arrived to the scene, the victim was suffering from gunshot wounds to his torso, left leg and buttock.

The victim was then reportedly taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Officials say they have identified the victim but his name is being withheld until additional family members can be notified.

Chester and CID detectives responded as well as their Crime Scene Units to assist in the investigation.
