WILDWOOD, NJ (CBS) — CBS 3 Meteorologist Kathy Orr heads to Morey’s Piers in Wildwood, New Jersey.

Kathy interviews Morey’s Kristel Fillmore about her preparations for next month’s Wild Half-Half Marathon.

Morey’s Piers presents the 13.1 mile shore race on August 26th.

It’s also Family Fun Night in Wildwood. Every Thursday evening there’s a boardwalk parade with musicians, stilt walkers, giant puppets and lots of other characters.

And there is a free summer fireworks extravaganza on the Pine Avenue beach in Wildwood.

It happens every Friday night at 10PM.
